Please Chance Me!!

I'm a junior in high school and I've been looking at NEU lately and am really liking it. I'd like to know if I have a chance of getting in! Since I'm only a junior, some of what I'll be writing is only a projection of my senior year, but most of it is current.

That all looks good, just keep in mind it seems that this year at least, NEU has been stats-heavy; meaning, you need to rock your SAT’s/ACT’s. I’ve seen several kids with 2100’s on the EA page saying they’ve been deferred, so it’s clear NEU is trying to get their numbers up and really get up there in the rankings. I know Northeastern superscores the SAT’s, and I think they do for ACT as well, so I’d take them a couple times to get the highest superscore possible. Grades, courseload, and EC’s look great. You’re on the right track. Good luck!

Thanks so much! Great advice too :)

Also, do you think that me being Moroccan gives me a minority edge in admissions? I guess I’d put it on the application as African American even though I’m not black.

Also, my intended major is neuroscience with pre med track if that affects anything

I’d say that if you can get that 2100+, you’ve got a >80% chance of admission, the rest of your profile looks great, but NEU is super stats focused especially with the huge increase of apps they got this year Good luck!

Thanks so much!:)
