Northeastern seems like a definite reach for me, but I love the school-- it's currently my top choice. I don't know if I should even apply but I thought I should ask people who are more knowledgeable than I am before I cut the ladder off.

My essay will be formatted around the fact that I felt trapped after moving to America, ironically so in a country of freedom, and how never giving up and taking brave little steps allowed me to be where I am today. I know for sure one of my recommendations will be great because I have a good relationship with the teacher. She knows how much immigration has affected me and has evidences of my hard work and improvements. I think the other one will be pretty good as well. As for my guidance counselor's, well, we'll see how much I can appeal to her when I go back to school in the fall haha

It's not all done quite yet because I still have to take the ACT again and have to wait on the results of the writing competitions I have entered, but I think everything will be ready by the time I apply EA.
Also, regarding my major, should I apply saying I want to major in Business or should I say Undecided? I understand the Business school is very competitive, but I don't know if declaring Undecided is a good idea. Is it hard to get to Northeastern and get into the Business program if I say Undecided? Will declaring Undecided rather than Business help with my chances at all?

Thank you; I would appreciate any responses.

EDIT: Do any you think I'd have any chance at BU too?
