Don’t bump your own posts - If people want to respond they will.
Your SSAT score is rather low, and they aren’t exactly corroborated with your GPA and grades in school. These are not HADES schools you’re applying too, but it is still below their averages.
Your grades are also not as fantastic as they can be. They will definitely be a dent in your app, but you do have a myriad of EC’s, sports, etc. However, you don’t mention what kinds of awards you have, are they nationals? Regionals? 1st Place? Quality vs Quantity.
^ Those grades are fine, and that’s not going to be the “dent” in your application.
Sorry mrnephew, I meant the ssat scores to be low, don’t know why I included the grades along with them.
OK, @PreppyHenry- let’s take a look! I LOVE all the schools you’re applying to. Nice choices!! The SSAT score might be a little problematic but not a complete deal breaker when you factor in everything else you have going for you- which is a lot. Not everyone is a wonderful test taker and all schools (including very selective schools) appreciate that.
And- I’m not just saying that because you like photography.
Your grades look good and you appear to be well thought of at your present school (by peers and faculty). It looks like you were successful in sports and other competitions, too. Good for you! You also seem to have done very well during your interviews and tours and worked hard on your applications- all good stuff.
I’ll have my fingers crossed for you M10- and Welcome!
Tune out the ridiculous HADES snobbery and please feel free to bump any thread (including your own) anytime. All the best to you and good luck!
Way to go @PreppyHenry . Congratulations!!
@photographermom Thanks so much!!!
