I am going to be a HS senior in the fall and Pitt is my dream school. I plan on applying to their engineering program ASAP, preferably in late August but I plan on sending 1-2 more test scores.

3.9 GPA
4.8 Weighted GPA
1860 SAT… 640 CR, 610 M + W (I plan on taking one more time to get my math score up a little)
28 ACT… 34 English, 27 Math, 23 Reading, 27 Science (superscored… I’ve taken it twice so far)
Class Rank: 34/580, Top 6% (I may have a shot at top 5% by the end of my senior if my grades stay at A’s)
AP Classes taken by graduation: AP World History, AP US History, AP Econ, AP Chem, AP Calc AB, AP Bio (the rest all honors/CHS courses)
EC’s: 4 years of Basketball (2 letters), 4 years of Golf (3 letters), National Honors Society, Science Honors Society
2 Letter of Rec’s
In-state

Both of my older brothers went to Pitt, so I’ve been around campus a ton in my life, not to mention I am a huge Pitt sports fan. My fallback schools would be OSU, VT, and Dayton probably.

Okay I don’t mean to crush your dreams buttt… your test scores and EC’s are a little low. Your ACT should be about 32+ and SAT be about 2200+. Your EC’s are okay, but wheres the leadership? Where do you show that you don’t just participate, you take it one step further? What about work experience?

I also am thinking about Wharton, please help me!!
