Hi! I would like to know my chances for:
Boston University
Brandeis University
UCSB
UCSC
San Diego State
UMass Amherst
Hofstra
-I am currently a senior in high school in California. I’ve had quite the ride throughout with transferring my sophomore year of high school, moving in the middle of my junior year to New York while going through my parents divorce and whooping cough(which explains my junior year grades), and then moving back to CA my senior year. I skipped two grades and am bilingual.
-I was in a dual curriculum school so I took all honors Judaic studies classes in addition to my regular course load. These GPA’s are without those classes counted(GPA is higher with them).
GPA:
9th Grade- Weighted- 4.52 Unweighted-3.95
10th Grade- W- 3.8 UW-3.6
11th Grade- W-3.68 UW-3.53
My UC GPA is about a 3.9
9th Grade Classes- Honors Algebra, Honors English, Honors Govt, Honors Biology, Hebrew, Fine Arts, PE
10th Grade- English, Honors European History, Geometry, Arabic, Hebrew, PE
11th Grade- English, AP US History, Arabic, Hebrew, Ceramics, Algebra 2, Chemistry, Bake Shop, Health, PE
Summer of 11th- I took two college classes- Marketing and Media
12th Grade - AP Gov, AP Lit, Honors Hebrew, Creative Writing, Psychology. I’m also taking two college classes- Intro to Business and Marine biology. I chose to forgo taking a math senior year as I didn’t feel I would do well after my education second semester when I moved and transferred. I might take a math later on in the year at the local community college.
