Hi! I’m a senior from MA. 17, female, I go to a top public high school in my state.
I took 4 AP classes and 7 honors courses through high school. I am a B/C student. While going through a series of family issues at the end of my junior year, I failed a VHS elective course. I have experienced severe family tragedy which I wrote about in my essay.
I had a 2.95 @ end of my junior year and now have about a 3.1.
My highest combined SAT’s are 1760 (620 CR 580 W 540 M)
I have been captain of the girls golf team at my school since my soph year and played for 4 years
I played 2 years of field hockey
I founded the Interact Club at my school and was selected for RYLA and then to be a counselor my junior year
I’ve been a STUCO member for 4 years
was on VP hiring committee @ my school
I’m a class officer, school committee rep for 2 years
I was Rotary student of the month in December of my senior year
I taught field hockey camp for 3 years for kindergarten-2nd graders
I work at least 20 hours a week as a waitress and at least 50 hours a week during the summer as a waitress&babysitter
I’m a hospice volunteer
I was head of children’s activities for a local non profit for 4 years
I’ve been the op/ed editor of the newspaper for 4 years
I was nominated for the leadership olympics for 3 years
