Wow, you seem quite worried about this beautiful thread being forgotten. In my experience, which is not much because I’m a senior in HS, I think you have a pretty good chance.
Just keep the GPA going up, good standardized test scores, essay, basically everything you are able to control.
You could also become a STEM teacher? That would fulfill the role of STEM and your urge to teach.
