Hello! I’m a rising senior and will be applying to uni this fall. My school counselor just gave me a list of schools that she thinks I ought to look into and I was hoping I could get some info for those schools (in relations to majors, student life, etc.) as well as get chanced.

    Learned about British Parliament Debate and organized debates.

    Earned an orange belt equivalent. (just a rookie haha)

    Took part in several plays and led an eng ver. of Midsummer Night’s Dream (all other plays were in Chinese)

    Translated dialogue from movies/tv shows for an online audience.

  • 2rd price: American Mathematic Competition (x2) (I never did get a first prize lmao)

It’s interesting to see someone who claims to have won English writing competitions wrote ‘2rd’ three times. NYU Shanghai is suitable for you. Your profile mediocre for a Chinese international student. You have nothing standing out, and you need matches and safeties.
