UCSB and UCSD do not have a Business school nor a Business administration major. Also UCB is not a direct admit into the Haas Business school, unless you apply to the MET or GMP program. If not you will have to apply for the program at end of Sophomore year after completing the required courses.

What is your Unweighted UC GPA, Capped weighted UC GPA and Fully weighted UC GPA?

https://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/

UC’s are test blind based on the current court injunction.

Do you have a sufficient budget to pay $65K/year to attend any of the UC’s?

Sorry! I forgot to include that abt UCSB, UCSD, and UC Berkeley. Tbh, I don’t care too much abt UCR, UCSB, and UCSD. I simply checked them off on the UC application because I was already applying to Berkeley and UCI. As for UC Berkeley, I do not plan on applying to the MET or GMP programs, so could you chance me on admission to the university as a whole? I just used the calculator for UC GPA’s and Unweighted UC GPA is 4.00, Capped Weighted UC GPA is 4.19, and Fully Weighted UC GPA is 4.62. I do have sufficient budget to attend the UC’s. Thank you for the response!

“University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Assured Admit)”

This is a really good school assuming that it is a safety. Are you in-state? UNC is a great university. You also clearly have put in a lot of very good work and very good academic success to earn this “great safety”. Sometimes very strong universities can be safeties (eg, McGill was a similarly very strong safety for several students that I have known in the past).

I think that you have a lot of what I would call “reasonable reaches”. A few (eg BU) might be matches or even a safety if you were applying to a less competitive major, but I do not know how much more competitive the business schools are.

I think that you are likely to do well, particularly if you can avoid debt for your bachelor’s degree. Keep up the good work when you get to university.

If you are in-state in North Carolina, then this does make me wonder which “USC” you are applying to.

Some UC admit rates and GPA data. This is not major specific and I think your chances are a better than the data suggests.

2019 Freshman admit rates for UC GPA of 3.80-4.19 capped weighted and not major specific:
UCB: 12%
UCSD: 33%
UCSB: 32%
UCI: 35%

**2020 UC capped weighted GPA averages along with 25th-75th percentile range: **
UCB: 4.22 (4.13-4.30)
UCSD: 4.18(4.04-4.28)
UCSB: 4.17 (4.03-4.27)
UCI: 4.11 (3.96-4.26)

You seem like a solid candidate for all of your EA schools, though the Ivies are still a reach (they are for basically anyone). If I were you, I would have applied ED to one of the tougher schools to which you’re applying RD. Overall, you are a very strong candidate and I’m sure you’ll have plenty of great options when all is said and done.
