Hooks/Extras-
Pomona/CMC/Swarthmore/NYU- I have talked to all of their golf coaches, and could play on any of their golf teams. I'm looking to develop some better relationships with them over the summer to see if I can be one of their top recruits.
USC- Legacy student, my grandfather attend.
*Multi-racial? I'm not sure if that's a hook.

Whatever golf coach from Pomona, CMC, or Swarthmore wants me most is the school I will apply ED to, but what school do of those three do you think would be the most sensible to apply ED to?

Please chance me for the following schools:
Pomona
Claremont McKenna
USC
Pepperdine
University of Washington (In-state)
NYU
Swarthmore

you probably have a good chance at most of those schools but Swarth and Pomona will still be reaches (for anyone) despite the fact you have the golf connection

athletes are really hard to judge in my opinion because i think different schools have different standards.
if a school really wants to recruit you for golf, then i don't think you should have a problem academically besides a slightly lower GPA than most admitted to those top colleges and a lower class rank which may or may not be important. Your SATs are a little low as well, but so were mine (i had a 2070) and I got into NYU and most of the other schools i applied to so there's really no telling.
i'd say you have a pretty good chance with golf, and a decent chance if you were just to rely on your academic record.

Multiracial is a nice plus if you have any interesting biological copulation experiences. Things like that may impress even the head of a good college. Go for it!

Ratings are: unlikely reach, reach, semi-reach, good fit, likely, safety. As epidemic points out, its hard to take into account athletic recruitment so these ratings are based more on tangibles (SAT scores, GPA, ACT scores).

Pomona... REACH.
Claremont McKenna... SEMI-REACH.
USC... SAFETY.
Pepperdine... LIKELY.
University of Washington... SAFETY.
NYU... GOOD FIT.
Swarthmore... REACH.

Thanks a lot for the input. Any other thoughts on my chances? I'm also open to any suggestions on other schools that I may have a decent shot at. As far as a major goes, I'm sort of undecided now, but it's going to be something in either business or medicine, so feel free to recommend any schools with strong programs in those fields of study.

Just a note based on my own experience and that of many friends: Pepperdine admissions are highly unpredictable, and your odds decrease dramatically if you don't have a good deal of church involvement or a Malibu-friendly hook (which golf may or may not prove to be). If you're counting UW as your safety, then feel free to disregard this comment, but if you're considering Pepperdine to be any sort of a safety, then take this as a note of caution. You're well-qualified, don't get me wrong...this is just anecdotally-based advice from someone else who counted it as a safe bet :)

Not to steal the thunder or anything, but while you're rating, could you give me an idea of where I stand as well? Thank you very much for any help, and once again I'm sorry to steal some attention here:
