<p>Hey Guys,
I am newb here, but have been reading around quite a bit. I am a junior right now.</p>
<p>Just wondering about my chances at some schools:</p>
<p>I am aiming for either a Physics, Math, or Political Economics degree from
1) Princeton (Paul Krugman FTW!)
2) MIT
3) UPenn
4) CalTech
5) Stanford/Williams/Amherst</p>
<p>My stats, etc.</p>
<p>GPA: 4.0 (school doesn't weight) with 1 Ap sophomore year, 2 Jr, and 4 Sr (So far, I got a 5 on Chem) Honors English/Humanities all 4 years. Took calculus as a sophomore, and am taking Multi at Portland State, and next year, Linear algebra at Reed College. 7 science classes (4 honors) so far.</p>
<p>SAT: took it in 8th grade (doesn't count) and got 2170. On practice tests I get 2300-2400
SAT IIs, only taken Chem so far - 780; will take Physics and Math IIc</p>
<p>EC:</p>
<p>Varsity Tennis 4 years (got to state sophomore year, hopefully this year too <strong>crossed fingers</strong>)
Orchestra - Concert Master of Freshman orchestra, soph/jr years = chamber orchestra
Freshman Class President, Sopho activites director.
Founded MESSY (math and science club) Sophomore year- led team to 8th in state first year running in Science Bowl
Key Club Webmaster and active member
National Honors Society
Community service benefit concerts with private orchestra</p>
<p>Last summer (between soph and jr year) I completed an internship at Reed College's research nuclear reactor; operated, researched, and maintained faciltiy for 10 weeks during summer.</p>
