I think (?) my EC's are decent, will certainly be seeking leadership positions for the next 2 years. I have developed some strong relationships with teachers, so my rec's should be good. I also interview well (so I've been told), and I am a pretty good writer, so essay should be solid as well. I don't mean to speculate too much, but I just want to give people an idea. SO, I'd reaaaaally appreciate some chances/suggestions for the following schools. Also, please let me know what I can do to strengthen my app/impress Adcoms.

Fordham
Marquette
Georgetown
Boston College
Wake Forest
University of Maryland
University of Connecticut
University of Michigan

Obviously, I've listed some pretty difficult schools to get into, so I'm expecting some negative feedback, but I don't really have any "safety" schools yet.

I want to combine my passion for German with law, and I want to go to law school. So are there any other schools that may be a good fit?

Thanks to those who took the time to read and chance!!!

Your EC’s are good but everything else is iffy. Try to really rock these next two years and get that GPA up, and definitely either retake the ACT or take the SAT because a 28 probably won’t get you into a school like Georgetown (Wake Forest of course doesn’t require test scores so that should help). You do have passion in your EC’s so that will probably get you into most places if you let that shine in your essays. I would say only Georgetown and possibly BC are pretty high reaches, the rest are definitely possibilities.

A common misconception is that Wake doesn’t require test scores. It’s true, they don’t. But it will be a hell of a lot harder for you to get in if you don’t submit them.

Try looking at George Washington and American if you like Georgetown so much. They’re both very similar to Georgetown, but they’re a little less competitive.

Also take a look at the PreLaw Program at Holy Cross. At Holy Cross each year, more than 100 Holy Cross graduates (15% of the class of 700) enter law schools accredited by the American Bar Association – one of the highest rates in the nation. Holy Cross has award-winning moot and mock trial teams and a unique student-published law journal, providing graduates with meaningful experience that appeals to the nation’s top law schools. For the second year in a row, a Holy Cross Moot Court team placed second in the National Moot Court Competition, making them among the top competitors in the nation. A Holy Cross grad is a US Supreme Court justice.
