<p>The schools I'm looking at are Cornell (engineering), MIT, Carnegie Mellon, Rice, Duke, UF, University of Michigan, UC Berkeley. Do you think I need some other safety school besides UF? Thanks for all your input.</p>

<p>I think you’re into UF, Rice, CMU and Michigan. Strong shot at Berkeley, Duke and Cornell; MIT is a reach for everybody. I think you’re set but perhaps add another safety just in case.
