<p>Just curious - why is NHS “not important, I know”? It’s a major ordeal to get in at our high school. In addition to the minimum academic requirement, you have pages of documents of clubs, awards, volunteer hours, demonstrated leadership activities/positions. Every award, volunteer hour, job, EC has to be verified by a teacher/employer/adult other than parent signature.</p>
<p>i say not important because almost everyone that applies to UT is in NHS. So i’ve been told that they don’t look at someone’s application and go crazy when they see NHS.</p>
