Please chance me

Hey so I am going to be a high school senior, and visited Pepperdine recently and was really impressed by it. It is going to be towards the top of my list of schools I'm applying to. What do you think my chances are for being accepted?

Gender: Male
Ethnicity: White
State: California
School: (Public, listed in top 3% of all public schools in the nation)
Religion: Episcopalian

GPA: 3.8
SAT: 1830
ACT: I might possibly take it in the fall along with the SAT again depending on what I got on the June SAT exam.
SAT 2: 670 on United States History, Two to three more in the fall
AP Exams: European History 5, Took English Language Comp and Biology but haven't gotten the results back yet.
IB Exams: Haven't taken any yet. Won't have the results until after Senior year is over.

Extracurricular Activities:
4 years Marching Band
4 years Instrumental Music, 1 year Concert Band, 3 years Wind Ensemble, Hopefully 2 years in the District Honor Band
3 years in Model United Nations. Was involved with leadership since my Freshmen year, and was Secretary of Publicity my Junior year. Increased the amount of delegates attending our annual conference by over 100, got our first LA county school to attend, and have won 11 awards at the 13 conferences I attended from my freshmen to junior year.
4 years in Fellowship of Christian Athletes. I have been in leadership for the club since my freshmen year, Was Secretary this past year, and hopefully will be Co-President my Senior year.
4 years in Invisible Children Club. I was Treasurer last year, and will be Vice-President next year.
2 years in Where the Wild Things Were Club. A friend of mine started it and I agreed to join and help out in it. It is community service and environmentally based. Next year I will be VP in it.
This summer I plan on finding a Congressman's office to do volunteer work in, and a non-school affiliated club or charitable organization to work with through summer and into next year. I am also interested in being more involved in helping out at my Church.

What do you all think my chances are for getting in? What could I improve upon if there is anything that sticks out that needs work?

Looking good. I recommend that you do try the ACT, and it wouldn’t hurt to retake your SAT if you’re not happy with your June score.

Your stats fall within Pepperdine’s range though.

Work on highlighting leadership positions and achievements/awards within your extracurriculars, which are vast. Even if you didn’t hold an official position, in the space that’s allotted, talk about a project you organized or your role in a special event, etc. Anything that identifies you as more than just a body or a name on a list.

Also, it cannot be said enough that your essay should speak volumes. It’s really the only sense Admissions gets of your character, personality, motivation, etc. Tie it into your faith and you’ll score some extra points.

P.S. If possible, submit Pepperdine’s application instead of the Common App. I don’t think it hurts your chances to use the Common App, but the essay prompts Pepperdine supplies are central to its Christian mission. Perhaps keep that in mind.

Thank you very much. :)
