Please chance me.

3.2 USF GPA going into senior year.
1510/2400 and 1010/1600-SAT
500-Math(Didn't study)
510-Reading(Had an hour of sleep before the test and completely bombed my first section)
500-Writing(Same as Reading)
As such, I expect 600's at least on my next try.
Taking next ACT.

Job for two years.
200+ hours of community service.

1 honor going into senior year but 5 IN senior year. I'm suspecting that they might ask me for my semester grades.
2.75 GPA Freshman year
3.25 GPA Sophomore year
3.50 GPA Junior year
This is counting electives which USF doesn't count but I'm showing you this to show that I have improved my grades each year.

I'm a Florida resident and Hispanic.

Please chance me for Fall and Summer.

Your upward trend in grades is good, with a 1800+ SAT, you should be in

Usf is a glorified community college. No one from my school got rejected. You will for sure get in with a 3.2 and anything over 1000 sat

Last year USF in Tampa had: 24,932 freshmen applicants
11,855 admitted freshmen applicants
13,077 rejected freshmen applicants
3,858 enrolled freshmen

USF is selective; most freshmen applicants are rejected.

No other responses?

With a 1010 SAT and a 3.2 GPA you need 4 or 5 USF success predictors as described in below grid link. Get your application in early in August. USF likes upward grade trends, looks at course rigor, and weighs GPA over SAT/ACT scores. You might get deferred by USF in the fall while they wait to see your fall semester grades. Good luck.

Lizard,
It say’s here that I need 3 academic electives. Or rather 2 since I am graduating in 2011. What if I don’t have ALL of them. I am taking my final one in senior year so is that a problem even if it shows up on my transcript?

The minimum requirements in the green box to the left of grid need to be completed by the end of your senior year–you don’t have to complete them by the end of your junior year. With a 1010 SAT and 3.2 GPA, USF is going to be looking for 5 of the success factors in the purple box being completed by the end of your senior year. Hope this helps.
