Plus I have played cello for 4 years and take orchestra as well as Choristers.
In elementary school I started the chess club, and I often help show around new students.
This year I am taking High School Algebra, and I haven't taken the SSAT yet but I know I will do well.

I am positive I forgot something so sorry if I have to edit this.
I will try to respond quickly if you have any questions. Thank you so much!!!

Edit:
I remembered what I forgot! I play guitar and write songs and stories. Nothing much but I do it quite a lot :)

You look like a good student but it’s hard to tell without your SSAT scores. Also, you should start doing more community service.

Good Luck! Study hard for the SSAT’s if you haven’t done them yet and your sure to have a chance at these schools.

i think you are unique and are different from others, but you need more academics.

danceaway- thank you! I know about the community service, I did meals on wheels for two summers, used to volunteer at an animal shelter (but you had to go with a parent and mine are always busy now), and I went with the volunteering club at my school a few times, but it is full of people who only do community service because they need 30 hours for confirmation. I try to help out at a local nursery school and my library as much as I can, though.

ilikecowz287-thank you! What do you recommend for academics? I am taking all the enriched/honors classes I am allowed to now. With my busy schedule, I can’t do much else after school, so it would have to be something that I can skip an elective for and take.

Thanks so much for the help!

your in. and dont do community service right before starting the application process. it looks bad and like your trying to impress the school. but if you get a good ssat score your in everywhere. seriously, i cant imagine you being rejected from more than 2 schools.

i agree with ilikecowz. i think you are very unique with a broad interest.
but i can see why he would think that you lack academics.
you dont have anything other than grades that shows that you are a strong student.
but i dont think that absolutely necessary.
good luck!

and if you have the time can you please answer mine? that would be really great.

Thank you everyone! I had my first interview today and the woman was very nice and easy to talk to. Good luck with your own applications!
