Any suggestions?!

Chance me and I’ll chance you!!! It will only take a sec please

Will the Bs ruin my chances?!

Having a couple of B’s in four years will not ruin your chances. Your stats and resume indicate that you will be a very competitive applicant at all the colleges on your list, however, it is always a crap-shoot when applying to the ivies and Stanford. Even Georgetown is somewhat unpredictable, but I think your chances of acceptance are really good there. You say you are “top 5%”, but you may be even higher since your GPA is so high and your HS doesn’t appear to be that competitive. Being a top 1% or 2% will greatly increase your chances at the top-tier schools.

Questions:

Do you have any hooks, such as being a URM (under-represented minority)?
Is UVA in-state for you? Make sure you have a financial safety on your list, if you are not from VA.

I have a feeling that this will be a year that your HS sends one of its grads to a top school because I think you will get in to W and M, UVA, GU, and at least one of the ivies on your list. Your essays could be the difference-maker… Good luck!

Thank you! I’m in the top 1% of my class, I’ll have to change my stats profile. Unfortunately, I am not a URM. I am not from Virginia, though looking at all of the colleges there I wish I was! I do have other safety schools, just not listed.
