EXTRA COMMENTS
I am inclined towards the sciences.
I moved around a lot my freshman year; therefore, I was not able to pursue many ECs. I am retaking the ACTs (my first time was a 33 with a week of prep) and am aiming for a 34/35
I've made two Bs in high school, one in honors algebra 2 in 9th grade and one in honors chemistry in sophomore year. In my next math classes, Honors Geometry, Honors Analysis, and AP Stat I made a 99, 95, and 96 respectively. In AP Chemistry I made a 94 and a 5 on the AP exam. I believe that shows a very high upward trend, so I hope it doesn't hurt me much.

I live in GA and am south Asian female.

Threads like this are just irritating. Look at everything you’ve written down, and then tell me if your title makes sense. Of course you have a shot! Nothing is guaranteed, but if you write solid essays then I’d be willing to put my money on your acceptance.

^I agree.

Chances thread are just absolutely ridiculous. If you have a 2200+/33+ and top 5 or 10 percent of your class, of course you have a chance. The reason people with these stats get rejected/waitlisted are for reasons people on collegeconfidential CANNOT tell you is ‘wrong’ with your application. It’s either the adcoms’ mood on the particular day they read your app, they have too many people from a region already, etc.

To post a thread like that means you’re either very insecure about yourself, or you’re just looking for a a place to brag.

No chance whatsoever. What would give you the idea that Wash U could accept you? Youre terribly underqualified. I guess there’s always community college…

^^ Yes a 3.95?? Really? Common bro, get your head in the game and go apply to UGA!

I agree with Johnson… the borderline chance threads are fine, but clearly this one is not just based on the SAT/rank and the amount of information/awards. Just write a good essay and show interest.
