what do you think

well, my gpa and scores are low.. that's my downfall. do you think they would overlook this?

your gpa is low but your sats are above the norm (besides cr)

they also love IB according to ibo.. i think that was the only reason why i was accepted

ur extracurriculars are amazing!
good luck!

thank you!
so yall think i have a chance at getting in?

I'm really hoping I get in here.
a friend of mine didn't apply ea or ed but she already got an acceptance letter in the mail.. is northeastern rolling admissions?

anyone out there?

I thought Northeastern doesn't send their first batch of letters out until April 1st?

that's what i thought. i know she got it in the mail about a month ago but i also know that she sent her application in very early... like october or novemberish but did not apply ed or ea, as i know she was accepted at amherst ed.

If her application was in before November 1 it probably got reviewed with the EA applications. Those decisions all came out around December 17.

I applied October 17th and have not heard, so I don't think thus is the case.

^^^ that seems odd. The EA decisions went out in mid-December.You might want to check on that. You should've heard something, whether acceptance, deferral or denial

Well I applied Regular Decision, not EA.

I didn't know you had the option of making your application RD by applying then. Just out of curiosity, why would you do that when you could've known in Dec if you are in or not ?

i have no idea. i just think she was really ahead of time with things.. she finished all her apps in the summer so she sent them in the first week of school just to get them out of the way and she applied ED to amherst

For me it's because there were no schools that stood out to me as ED- or EA-worthy. So I did all my schools RD.

Christ almighty, you have a lot of EC's and extra stuff. If you don't get in I will personally write them a letter complaining haha. I had better SAT scores, but same / maybe even less GPA and literally one job and decent athletics (a few county/conference recognitions in cross country but thats really it) and I got in with a Dean's Scholarship.

I didnt even know they were sending out letter of acceptance this year, i called the admissions office like two days ago and they said its all going to be online and to make sure that i had my id. lol this could be a bit confusing lol

*letters sorry!

For EA decisions the first word came on line, followed by a letter a week later.
