Hi, Im an International Student applying from Dubai.

SAT : 2050 ( M-720 CR-650 W-690) W 9
ACT 31 W 10

SAT 2 - 780 in physics and maths.
TOEFL - 115
I attend an Indian School so we don't really have a GPA system , but i've been in the top 5% maybe 3% of my class and got above a 90% ( India system of calculation) throughout my senior year.

EC'S : Senior Soccer Captain , I really dont think EC's will be a problem. I have a diverse set ranging from sports to public service to elocution and debate. Done loads of environmental work as well

Essays : I've always been a really good writer and I'm pretty sure my essays shouldn't be a stumbling block , that's my Councillor's opinion as well.

I've been to the USA a number of times for a NASA program and done several courses from other universities such as Brown etc during my school year.

Im planning on early admission to these colleges , opinions guys?
Oh and Im intending on majoring in Industrial Engineering !

Georgia Tech
Purdue
UIUC
UCLA
Berkeley
Cornell
Michigan
CMU

Full freight isn't a problem. Could anyone also tellme if being an international student is an advantage or not?

Anywhere else I should apply for Industrial?Safety?

Being international isn’t an advantage, as there’s a large number of applicants competing for a smaller number of spots. If you need financial aid, it definitely hurts your chances. That being said, raise your SAT/ACT to a 33/2250+ to have a real shot at these schools, since the rest of your application is good enough.

bump bump bumbly bump
