Wow! A perfect 36 and a 2350 SAT. Are you even human? I’d say you’d make a strong candidate for any of the schools you’ve apply to. The only downside I really see is your GPA possibly, but I take it you go to a rigorous school, as you’re in the top 1.5%, so as long as someone explains your schools academic rigor, you should be set.

Keep in mind that you must also have good essays and recommendations as these schools will not just be looking for great numbers (which is usually what they get anways). If you can do that, then I bet you’ll have the run of the litter as what colleges you want to chose from next year.

Good luck and thanks for chancing me:)

P.S. Are you applying for financial aid as well? Only asking as that might decrease your chances by a little degree (though not so much that I don’t think they wouldn’t accept you).

I think you’re in.

@AnEpicIndian‌ where

It’s hard to chance for the Ivies.
You’ve a solid chance at each of them. Being an URM and having those scores will be looked highly upon.
Apply EA for all of them for optimal chance.

@Tuscani‌ Thanks for commenting! I’m either applying ED to cornell (human ecology) or scea to princeton.

I think you will get into every school you apply to if you write an essay that makes you likable and admirable. Submit the SAT score as well, any score above the schools posted 75th percentile is helping their averages, and it could only help your candidacy. You have had a strong positive impact on your community, you have great test scores and good grades in rigorous courses, and you are a minority.

I also applied to Human Ecology…it’s a really great college that makes Cornell feel much smaller. And I believe its over 60% female!

Good luck!

Go SCEA to Princeton.

@Oberyn‌ Do you think I have a better shot there than cornell?

I’m saying you will get into Cornell ED easily, but you also have a REALLY good shot at Princeton SCEA. I’m not saying Cornell is bad, but don’t waste your ED unless it’s absolutely your favorite. You’ll get into most (if not all) of the schools on your list.

@Oberyn‌ Ohh ok thanks! I’m going to visit both of them in the summer so I think I’ll decide then which i my favorite.

Because of my ec’s will it be harder for me to get into human ecology at cornell?
