Hi! If you could please chance me that would be greatly appreciated…

I am applying to UCLA, UCSD, UCB, SDSU and USC as a transfer student. My major of interest is Sociology. I spent 2 years at my local community college not wasting any time and have done good except for a couple of classes :frowning: here are some of my stats.

UC GPA: 3.61 CSU GPA: 3.65
Major: Sociology
Pre Reqs: Completed ( Received all A’s)
IGETC: Will complete Spring 2015
EC: Strong work experience dealing with major of interest
Personal Statement: Solid 8/10 or better
Past Semester had a 4.0, all As.

What about your SAT and AP scores?

I am applying as a transfer and the application did not require those scores

You have a good chance at all, but UCB, UCLA, and USC would all be reaches because they’re so selective. You’re in at SDSU. :slight_smile: The grades you got in classes that relate to your major (sociology but also all social sciences and statistics) would matter o the most selective universities. The 4.0 last semester would be in your favor.
