If your junior GPA is 4.2, then your 3.86 GPA is weighted. What is your uwGPA in 4.0 max scale? Your ACT is way below the 25th percentile of 30. It is a high reach for you from OOS.

Here are a couple things you could answer to get a more helpful answer:

  1. What is your University of Michigan recalculated GPA? To find this, use an unweighted scale such that A=4, B=3, C=2, etc. for your classes.
  2. To which college (College of Engineering, College of LSA, etc.) are you applying?

Since you’re out of state, it will be harder for you to get in versus an in state, but what matters more is where in the University you are applying.
