Please, chances...I'm terrified

I would really appreciate it if you could make some comments...I have done pretty well in high school but I am not a brilliant student researcher or anything, and I am really scared that I am applying to a list that won't accept me, so thanks...here are my stats

I would really appreciate it if you would comment on reaches, matches, etc...I know Yale is very very unlikely. Do you think my grades will hurt a lot? And my low SAT IIs? Thanks so much!

Grades will definately hurt and theres nothing you can do to change those low marks in the past. Try to raise that with good senior grades. And retake those SAT IIs!!!!

retake your SAT 2's (especially Biology and Chemistry-aim for 750 on each). School grades will go against you.

Yale-reach
Wash. U, U Chicago, -slight reach/match
Amherst, Cornell- reach

I am not too sure about the others

Give Yale a shot, but... well, you know how it is. Competition is insane. Depending on your essays, i'd give you a 5% - 10% chance at Yale, which is about average. The others on your list are much more realistic, and you have a chance at all of them.

Thanks to everyone who posted!

I just wanted to mention one more thing- if my school has a very difficult grade distribution, where only two or three people have straight A's, does that make my situation any different?

Also, do SAT IIs reallly matter that much if my APs are 5s?

Yes they do. Definitely....

ummm...just a question...You got a 2360 on the SAT and then you have sub-par SATII scores (compared to your SATI)...What's up with that?

Yess...

My chemistry class did not teach to the SAT II test- we never learned organic chemistry and din't do half as much of the math stuff

The other three aren't that bad. Not great, but not bad.

The SAT IIs are just...well, I don't do well on them. I don't know why.
