Hi everyone! I am an incoming freshman who is going to UCI for this fall. I have already attended SPOP and picked out some classes for my undecided/undeclared major. But I am not sure if the classes that I picked are good enough, considering the fact that I am still struggling between a bio sci major and a business major. Can you guys help?

Class Schedule:
1. Bio Sci 93
2. Chem 1A
3. Econ 13
4. University Studies 1
* a sum of 14 units (too easy?)

Thank you for your help!

Good enough for what? Seems like a pretty solid schedule to me. Be prepared to mostly focus on Bio. and Chem.

It is better to take it easy the first quarter then to bite off more than you can chew

Sorry if I wasn’t specific enough, I meant the college units. Most of the freshmen are planning to take 16-18 college units, and I don’t want to be too far behind from everyone else.

Gotcha!
Just wondering, Does anyone know a professor named GORODETSKY, A. for General Chemistry? I tried to look him up in ratemyprofessor.com, his/ her name didn’t even show up. STRANGE.

^Might be someone who just got their Ph.D. That happens sometimes.

Most freshman take 12-13 units and are highly advised to do so. The counselors know what they’re talking about and don’t want you guys to fail from the start. I don’t know where you heard 16-18 but most students avoid taking 18 or more units a quarter. Your schedule is very average, probably above average by a bit. You’ll be able to adjust your schedule later on in Winter/Spring based on your first quarter performance. You’re fine lol.
