wait if an 86% is an A, then how is a 84% a B/B+ average??
These are my 3 favorite schools that you have a good chance of getting into:

Carleton College: small liberal arts school, professors are focused on students, great study abroad program, great biology program
Davidson College: best liberal arts college in the sough (1,674 students), notorious for grade deflection, classes are intense and one will learn a lot, professors are amazing
Lawrence University: great science, music, humanities, social sciences programs. trimester session, easiest to get into on this list

If you want any info on other stuff like campus life, tell me

Stretching it a bit would be Bowdoin College, Middlebury College, or Williams College but it is getting as competitive as ivy league schools now so i have no idea what to tell you. However, if you have an A-/A average, then you have a good shot.

If you can get a higher SAT score and have good grades this year, take a shot at Bowdoin College. It is by far my favorite school in the US. It is located on the shore, has a beautiful campus, the best college food in the country and strong programs in environmental studies, neuroscience, foreign language, english, and education. Anything taught here is pretty strong. There is a strong alumni network and people will respect a Bowdoin graduate.

if not Bowdoin try Davidson and Carleton…Lawrence should be easy to get into for you.
pm me if you have any questions!
Good Luck!

I agree with you Bowdoin seems amazing, although I dont know if it is realistic because of my SAT scores… would you think I should even apply?
Davidson looks more reasonable for me…what exactly does grade deflation means (ESL sorry haha)? Also it says it is Presbyteran, I am Catholic but I am pretty open so I dont mind but I also dont want a school where it is like hardcore religious and mandatory things, what would be your opinion on that?
Lawrence University looks good for me (regarding SAT scores) I think it is still a bit of a reach like you said.
I noticed you said you think I have a good chance of gettin into carleton, davidson, and lawrence but they all (except lawrence maybe) seam to have higher expected SAT scores than mine, why are you saying this then? I mean I really hope you are right haha but Im just curious…

Lawrence looks amazing actually thanks a little bit more research and most probably it will be on my application list!
What do you think about The George Washington University and Depaul?
thanks a lot man

what school would you go for If you were me… (so for Pre-Med), Lawrence or Trinity University? I see that statistics for both are similar, and they both look pretty good to me…what is your opinion?

Bowdoin has a policy where SAT scores are optional, however your grades are probably too low to get accepted. Davidson may be affiliated with Presbyterian church just by name and by no ways are you required to take theology courses and religion takes no part in everyday life. Grade deflation means that it is harder to get an A at that school.

Davidson and Carleton should be reaches. Lawrence is a match, you can definately get in.

I actually visited George Washington University and DePaul University over the last year. DePaul was average, wasn’t bad but not great either. It is a catholic university and is strong in business, theatre, and has a great study abroad program. It is on a quarterly schedule which means your classes last 7 weeks at a time. Chicago is amazing and DePaul students get free transportation. DePaul is one of the diverse colleges in the country.
As for George Washington University, I was pretty impressed. You should go there if you want to do anything related to politics, political science, political communications, international affairs since it is located in the capital. Business and computer security and information is very good too. Many of the professors have worked on capital hill or in some level of importance in the government. DC is again a great city, there are many local colleges, museums, monuments, and people love to get active politically. It is among the nation’s most expensive colleges unfortunately ($52,000 w/ room+board)

GWU is probably at the same level as Carleton and Davidson in terms of selectivity.
DePaul is easy to get into. As long as you have a B/B-, you will get in.

I’d have to say: go with Lawrence. Trinity’s strongest programs are more of the humanities/social sciences. Lawrence has stronger science programs, and the academics are more highly regarded

However, you may want to consider the atmosphere. If you want a city, go to Trinity. If you want to go to a small town, go to Lawrence. But academically, Lawrence has the better pre-med program.

University of Miami Hurricanes - up and coming private school in a great location, likes its sports

Vanderbilt University Commodores - one of the best southern institutions, big party school

Northeastern University Huskies - safety school

University of Southern California Trojans - strong in several fields, highly selective, love its sports

University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish - every Catholic’s dream school, loves its sports

haha country day, he meant Miami University in Ohio not University Of Miami

Miami University Red Hawks - safety school for kids who apply to Notre Dame and Boston College, pretty good amount of partying, good academically

Ursinus has very good premed program (I think 92% of students admitted to med school). Small school in small town about 30 min. from Philadelphia. Everyone seemed very friendly when we visited. Very pretty campus.
