hey, i remember exploravision! i was in that; we made an invisible plane or something like that....but we didnt get an honorable mention, just little crappy radios that broke after a month. what did you make?

a bunch of theoretical improvements to hydrofoils and the aquanator using salters duck as a base of our design. it was a lot of stuff that would have been really cool and could've worked if wouldnt have cost like a million dollars to put into operation

I think you have an impressive resume. I can't tell you about your chances because I'm not an admissions officer. I could tell you this though: that your profile is probably as good as if not better than the rest of the applicant pool. It's great that you're retaking the SAT's, but don't take them too often. That being said, if I told you you were a shoo-in, I'd be lying. I'd also be lying if I told you you were on the bottom and your application would be tossed. That's a long winded way of saying you're in the middle.

Stay true to yourself. That's what Columbia and all the top schools want: smart, driven, singular. My advice is separate yourself from the crowd. Focus on what makes you stand out, and how you can add value to Columbia's campus.
