Here's a friendly suggestion to forum participants, which I hope will be noted by the forum moderators. PLEASE do not discuss the American Invitational Mathematics Examination ( AIME ) I test to be given on Tuesday 6 March 2006 until AT LEAST Wednesday, at the earliest. It's most fair to all test-takers to keep the test secure and above reproach by not discussing it online until all test forms have been mailed in to be graded, and I think all of you test-takers (good luck, by the way) agree to do that as you sign your answer form--that is, you agree not to discuss the test online until the AMC indicates that that is okay.

Please be a good sport, and WAIT patiently until the proper time before discussing the AIME I.

Preserving the integrity of tests that are regularly discussed on College Confidential is of paramount importance to us. We second the suggestion of Tokenadult and ask all of you to act accordingly.

And that goes for today's alternate AIME, too. Art of Problem Solving says they "expect to reopen this discussion on Thursday, March 23", so that's probably a good guideline as to when you can start discussing it.

How do you allow discussion of the SAT then? I was under the impression that SAT questions should never be discussed because questions from the experimental sections are used in future tests.
