please don't let this be another retake thread

Hey, took the june SAT (1st time), and my scores came out to be

730 Critical Reading
750 Math
800 Writing (80, 12/12)

unfortunately, my goal was 2300 plus, and on top of it all, I was thinking of retaking because i WAS thinking that since writing is played down so much, this score would actually be looked at as a 1480, (M+CR), instead of the percentage 1520. Can someone help me out here?

ps ( assume i'm applying to HYPMS and chicago)

Chill. Don't retake it. Your scores are fine for any school. If you retake it, chances are you stand to lose. This is a 2280. It's terrific. Test scores aren't everything, especially at HYPMS and chicago, unless I'm very much mistaken. Concentrate on other things now.

but would those colleges see it as a 1520, or a 1480? or maybe even a 1500?

It's hard to make any conclusions because no one truly knows. Schools may make or change a policy once they see the preliminary data in August.
