Please evaluate me! Be honest

I'm a junior at a college prep school in Maryland. I really want to go to a military academy. I apllied to the summer programs at westpoint and the naval academy but got turned down. I think it was because of low PSAT's. Besides the service academies, I'm thinking of Bucknell, Brown, University of Pennsylvania, and some other tough schools. What do u think my chances are?

I haven't taken SAT yet, but plan to in May
Have taken a practice SAT and scored 1860/2400 (I'll bring it up on the real one)

I am not an expert and will not comment on your chances. But you E/C are outstanding. How did you have time for all of this?

wow your ECs... o__o

try and boost up your SAT score by a lot (maybe 2200+)

That is an extensive list of ECs, but some AdComs might not take some of your activities seriously. They'll be looking for quality participation and leadership. You should highlight the ones you are more committed to and dedicate more time to.

The service academies are sort of... different from the rest of the colleges in America. Like you need a Congressman or someone from the Department of the Army to recommend you to even be considered. Your best bet would be to get in contact with the local rep, who would know a little bit more about the variance between the service academies and regular colleges.

my friend got into the military academy at anapolis with a 1700. i dont think SATs matter. more reccomendations and stuff? i dont really understand it.
