Hello! I am a rising senior , and since last week I have been planning for perhaps my most productive summer yet. I would like your honest input on whether my plan is tenable, whether it would exhaust me too much or is not productive enough, or how I could revise it.
Below is the list of things I plan to do starting May (as of now): (no rigid schedule yet)
- Get my 2nd dose of the Pfizer vaccine (5/4)
- 6 AP Exams + final exams/regents (NY) (School year ends mid-June)
- Get my driver’s license by early June (a bit late ik)
- Work on my Common App/Essays and supplements
- Summer research (remote) for Institution name undisclosed
- (Possible) Internship for Institution name undisclosed (Yes, that’s 2)
- Visit some colleges (CWRU, WashU, et cetera)
- Get a (part-time) summer job at a retail store or a restaurant
For some basic information, I am a prospective mathematics/neuroscience double major in a T30/T20 who plans to take the pre-med track.
Obviously I not only want to bolster my applications but also make the most out of the last summer as a high schooler, whether it be in experience, money, or memories! So again, please feel free to suggest things I should add or delete from this list or your personal judgment.
