dont worry.
im from indonesia. i think my country has one the craziest US embassy security in the world..lols.
i got the 5yrs F-1 visa with 1 shot.
as long as your parents can pay,you filled all the forms competely…and
you still hv families in india (means you will go back to your country),you will be ok.
oo..and EVERY time they ask you about getting job..DONT ever say that you want to work in US or your goal is to get job in US after graduation..that’s will make they think you want to go to US for work, not for study. trust me,they will ask that kind of stuff over and over..
tell them after your graduation, you’ll probably will take master degree and GO BACK to your country, (in this case, youre not lying and hey,who knows about your future?)
they wont care about your school stuff as long as your I-20 is completed.

What exactly do they ask us in VISA interviews? I am apprehensive because I have heard lot of stories.

What documents do we need to notarize for taking to the VISA interview?

you need to bring mmm,all forms that you filled up from the internet, your I-20, your school acceptance letter, your toefl score report (sometimes they ask), your/your parents bank accounts, your parents employment letter, i think there’s a list of wht you need to bring in their web.

they’ll ask why you want to go to the us, wht major you want to take and why, why you choose to go to that state, any families in the us, your parents bank account, they’ll also check wht foreign countries that you ever went to..
