<p>SAT= 1450 (740 Math, 710 CR); 2090 (640 Writing)--single sitting
(Vandy, Georgetown, Notre Dame, WashU, UChicago, and Williams don't look at SAT Writing)
SAT 2= 770 US History, 720 Math 1</p>

<p>UW GPA= 3.56
Weighted GPA= 5.13</p>

<p>Class Rank= 3/430 top 1% (at a competitive college prep charter school)</p>

<p>I had a very rigorous schedule (15 APs)</p>

<p>9th grade- DECA Marketing District, State, and International Finalist (switched to a school with no DECA sophmore year)</p>

<p>My recs were amazing. I'd give my essays an 8.5/10</p>

<p>Gender/Race= Male/ White
State= FL</p>

<p>Please be as harsh as you need to be. I understand my UW GPA sucks, but I am hoping my Weighted GPA/Class Rank can slightly make up for it (as it takes course rigor into account). I am also re-taking the SAT in January in an attempt to get the writing section to a 700+. University of Florida is my backup, but do I have a chance at any of these out of state schools? Thanks!</p>

<p>Your GPA and SAT is a bit low. Northwestern, WUSTL, Brown, UChicago, Williams, JHU are reaches.</p>

<p>However, 15 APs is definitely impressive.

<p>You sound very well-qualified. I think colleges will be very interested in how you supported your father financially and if you did a good job with the essay it will speak volumes to your character.</p>
