I am like you some of guys that I aim for Upenn this year(especially Wharton or Huntsman). Ever since I've got here 10th 2nd semester, matriculating to Wharton was what my life was for. However, I've got some problem now.

My weakpoints are 1)That I transfered school twice, 2)My GPA&rank.

1st transfer : From Korea to America in 10th 2nd Semester(Obviously I wanted to study in America and get into American college since my family is moving this continent next july.)

2nd transfer : I'm going to transfer to other catholic high this year(senior year). My highschool is not boarding school and I need host family to live with. But my program(Nacel) couldn't find any house that I can live this year, and a church official where I have volunteered for years offered me to stay there but it's too far from my highschoo(2 hours) So I go highschool nearby. They offer much more AP and their activities match with my interests.

GPA&Rank : I've got 3.58 22/119 at the end of the 11th grade before I transfered. And that's so unfair, because I used to be 3.9 and top5 in that highschool. I figured out that they converted and combined my grades from Korea and grades from America at the end of the year. Then it lowered my GPA&rank significantly. However, my grades in Korea were not bad either. I was top5%. They just converted those very poorly and combined those with decent American grades.
I hope the school where I am transfering is not doing same stupid thing because they don't xxxx know how to convert my Korean grades fairly in American Scale. What I want them to do is just give me the GPA and class rank based on what I've got in American highschool

I will just put my activities and scores for insightful comments.
Also chance me!! I'm applying for Wharton ED, Chicago, Michigan for early

-GPA & Class rank-(Where I need feedback)
Where I have attended : 3.58, 22/119-->from the school where I have attended 10th 2nd sem&11th grade. Yeah, they lowered my GPA&rank significantly by converting my grades from Korea very poorly and combining those with grades I've got in their highschool.

Where I'm going to transfer : 4.1, rank 17~21 out of 235.->I contacted academic counselor of where I'm going to transfer this year. He told me this figure based on my transcrip but he said I'm going to be top 20~25% instead of 10%.(Is he insane? or is it because of my rank from previous school? Korean boy can't read American mind.)

Please give me some ideas how colleges would going to look at my weak points(my transfer record&GPA,rank

(P.S if there is any Asians or people who feel they were disadvantaged from such a instance<unfair gpa="" recalculation="" of="" where="" he="" attended="">, please contact me.
