University of Southern California

University of Texas, Austin

University of Michigan, Ann Arbor

Massachusetts Institute of Technology (EA, I think?)

Stanford University

Thank you very much!

University of Washington: in

University of California, Berkeley: low reach ( just cuz ur out of state)

University of California, Los Angeles: in

University of Southern California: in

University of Texas, Austin: in

University of Michigan, Ann Arbor: in

Carnegie Mellon University: low reach

Cornell University: low reach

Massachusetts Institute of Technology (EA, I think?): reach ( ur scores are good but MIT is still rly hard to get into)

Stanford University: reach

can u chance bck ? thanks :] http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/735662-chance-me.html</a></p>

Thanks!

One of my main questions is, since I really want to go to either Stanford or MIT, do I have a good chance of getting into at least one of those two schools?

hmm
heres the problem
so this year 2 girls in my skool applied to stanford
one had a 4.0 2350+ and was captain of like 3 teams and she got rejected
another girl had a 3.88 and a low 2200s and got in but i heard her essay was aamzing

stanford wants interesting ppl so write a kick ass essay and have good recs and u shud be fine?

MIT is alot harder the only ppl who got into MIT were like chem and bio Olympiad winners :p

but the top skools are rly unpredictable but with ur scores and extracurriculars u have a good shot :D

yeah the top schools are often crapshoots :stuck_out_tongue: but i’m sure you know that already
your stats are absolutely perfect. the only thing is, if your school is so new, and it doesnt have a history of sending grads to top schools, it might be a little more difficult for you because you have to be the pioneer/guinea pig type thing, if that makes sense.
anyways my predictions:

University of Washington: in

University of California, Berkeley: in

University of California, Los Angeles: definitely in

University of Southern California: also definitely in

University of Texas, Austin: in

University of Michigan, Ann Arbor: in

Carnegie Mellon University: low reach

Cornell University: low reach

Massachusetts Institute of Technology (EA, I think?): high reach. the reason i think this is because you dont have AMAZING science/math/engineering ECs, and there will be a loot of ppl applying to MIT with perfect stats like yours who are nationally/internationally recognized in those fields

Stanford University: reach - write good essays

chance me back if you have time? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/736548-chance-me-top-schools-ivies.html</a></p>

Thanks, I will! Anyone else, please? I will take the time to chance back!
