Assignment:Is it always best to determine one's own views of right and wrong, or can we benefit from following the crowd?

We should take the decisions for ourselves knowing the right from the wrong, following what we believe not the others who believe, I agree that we should listen to other opinions and evaluate ourselves by them but we shouldn't be mindless to others,Being out spoken for what we believe makes us special from the crowd, we become heroes because we have courage and persistence for what we believe is right, To support my perception, there are examples of Heroes who sacrificed everything just to tell what they it believe is right while the crowd saw it but didn't do a thing.

In the novel "To kill a mocking bird", Atticus finch, a small town lawyer who lives in a southern racism white town, is charged for defending Tom Robinson, a black man accused of raping a white woman. , even though he was threatened by his member of his community, he decided to do the right but unconventional thing, he launched a brilliant defense for his client, stood persistent didn't care what others thought about him and said the right thing, In other word he didn't follow the crowd.

There was a time when racism against African Americans ran rampant in U.S.A but there was a one who decided to fight for black equality and that was Martin Luther king. He saw the unfairness and the cruelty so he stood up and faced many perils, he even faced death but he didn't care about that, all he cared was to state the flaws he saw in America and make it a better place for all people where there are equality and fairness, he didn't fear, instead he became more stronger for what he believed so he achieved his goal.

Peter Benson who was in Portugal, witnessed two student being treated inhumanely by the government so he took the responsibility to write to his hometown newspaper criticizing the acts of the Portuguese government and release the two boys. This became a world wide news, so because of him there is now Amnesty International which solves problems from across the globe.

Those three heroes and many others didn't follow the crowd, didn't care for the danger and the castigation they faced, all they wanted to do is to say what they think is right and that ofcourse needs Courage and Persistence and motivation.

Your incorrect usage of periods and commas make the essay difficult to read. I had to go back and forth in each paragraph trying to determine sentence structure. Your first paragraph as written is one long sentence.

There are other issues and mistakes. In this case I think your overall ‘thoughts’ are better than your overall use of the english language. Since you are asking for a 1-12 grade and this appears to be a SAT type essay I would say that it is probably a 4-6.

Thanx for telling me not to use lot of commas and make the time of the sentence correct. I will make it correct next time

Any more people to grade?
