Technology promises to make our lives easier, freeing up time for leisure pursuits. But the rapid pace of technological innovation and the split second processing capabilities of computers that can work virtually nonstop have made all of us feel rushed. We have adopted the relentless pace of the very machines that were supposed to simplify our lives, with the result that, whether at work or play, people don't feel like their lives have changed for the better

assignment: Do changes that make our lives easier not necessarily make them better?

The typical debate over the issue of whether changes that ease our lives improve them or not might arise from the controversial nature of the topic, Some people think that all changes are positively effective in our lives. However, I, myself, think that some of these changes worsen our lives, our knowledge or the beauty of our lives.
My readings about a novel called A Tale of Two Cities and a personal experience in my early school years have given me the assertion that some changes worsen our circumstances.
Characters in literature aren't always fictional, They might be real persons that lived in the author's life or inside the author, This is why I always looked upon and resorted to fiction as a source if evidence of my views of life, for example, in Tale of Two Cities M.Defarge, a bar owner, was successful in his work and won a lot of money from his bar, But he was living a miserable life because of his country's bad situation and the people's bad and miserable life, M.Defarge spent great amounts as taxes, saw a lot of people dying as a result of hunger, diseases and poverty, which he also suffered of them, in this way, it is so clear that what makes lives easier doesn't make lives better.
One's past life should not be seen as only past event, One should take those events as experiences and knowledge to guide him through making future. My personal experience gave me good reasons to adhere to my opinion which is shown above, When I was in my early school grades, My science teacher gave us in the class a way by which we could answer some questions very easily, but this way wasn't very useful for our knowledge. As a result, One day after the exam, Most of my classmates, including me, couldn't remember most of the school curriculum, because this way wanted us to remember and not to understand. This is how I came to believe that innovation, that makes your duties easier, doesn't always makes your life aesthetic.
In conclusion, The insights I have gleaned from literature and personal experience confirm me further and further that life life isn't always improved by the capabilities of new, different changes.
