<p>It has become increasingly evident that the past is a monumental truth to comprehend present issues. Although many people may contend that history is irrelevant to the future, nothing is more important than incorporating the lessons of the past into the future. The examples of the American Revolution, Niccolo Machiavellis book, Prince, and Albert Einsteins Theory of Relativity all exemplify the benefits of the past. </p>
<p>War is a common ramification of injustice that underscores the problems of the past. During 1753, the British monarchy severely taxed the Colonists of the Americas, causing widespread strife and discontent. Such a tyrannical government demonstrated that a government should be balanced and include the opinion of the people. The Founding Fathers of America saw this flaw and met to draft a new government. On September 17, 1987 the Annapolis Convention was convened and a new government was created. It included a series of check and balances that allowed for a more stable and consistent power. The flaws of the British government helped the Founding Fathers form a government that was beneficial to the United States. </p>

Machiavelli preaches that exemplarily leaders such as Alexander the Great should be learned from to gain success. Alexander was the man who controlled nearly all of Asia, conquering numerous countries. He gained power from being crafty like a fox but commanding like a lion. The book demonstrates that a balance should be learned from Alexander work to become successful. The chronicles of history help illuminate the mysteries of the present. </p>
<p>The future is fickle, but history presents many answers. To advance in the world one should learn from the past as demonstrated by the Founding Fathers and Machiavellis book, Prince. When history is compounded into the present, mankind is capable of success.</p>
