Can the daily actions of average people have a significant impact on the course of history?

The daily actions of average people can have a significant impact on the course of history. Daily actions are a normal part of a routine done on a day to day basis. It is so significant because it is followed by the majority of people. If peoples actions were different, actions would not cause whatever reaction and therefore may not start a chain reaction that would have been caused had the action been different.

In world war two, Nazi Germany did not come to be without the hands of the average german people. It was through many normal peoples votes that led to Hitlers rise in power. Had the majority of the people of Germany not voted for Hitler and Nazism then the second world war may have potentially not occured. Through the power of the masses wherein most will be average people, anything could happen.

In China during the Great Leap Forward, there was much change and improvements across Chinas industry and economy. Although people were pushed and encouraged by Chairman Mao , the change in China could not have happened had the average person in China (the majority of Chinas population of the time were peasants) not done their daily routine of intensive labour. The actions of average people created a great mark in China's history and became part of Mao's legend.

The two examples i discussed above show that withour the actions of average people. Such major event could never have occured and therefore never start a chain reaction of events. If a chain reactions of events never happens it would irrevocably mean that history would be different.
