<p>Does anyone know what the prerequisites are for vet school? What undergrad curriculum do you need in order to be a strong candidate for vet school? (Penn Vet School in particular) </p>

<p>I am about to make a college decision and want to choose the school with the best undergrad program for me but cost is definitely a factor. Would an ivy league (expensive) undergrad education give me an edge for vet school or would a local branch of Penn State (affordable) be just as good?</p>

<p>I learned that it doesn’t matter what school you go to as long as you complete the perquisite classes. You can major in anything, like English, music, history, or a science. I would research what Veterinary school you would like to go to and get information from their. I have chart that lists the different classes needed to get into a Veterinary school. PM me if you want it. It helped me a lot.</p>
