Please help a junior who DESPERATELY wants to go to NYU!!!

<p>I want to go to NYU but I my chances are slim. I'm thinking of either a chemistry or psychology major in CAS.</p>

<p>Total UW GPA: 3.39
Academic UW GPA: 3.21
10-12 UW GPA: 3.06
Weighted GPA: ???</p>

<p>SAT I: 2060 (1360 CR+M) <-- I'm retaking
ACT: 30
SAT II:
Math IIC: 740
Bio-M: 640 :(
Will be taking Chem and US History</p>

<p>AP:
Euro: 3
Calc AB: 4 (taking Calc BC this year)
Bio: 4
Currently taking Chem, US History, Calc BC</p>

<p>EC:
Volunteer at care facility (3 years)
ACS, NHS officers
School Orchestra
Taekwondo
Wrote for school paper 1 year (a little)</p>

<p>What worries me is that I got C's in AP Euro and AP Bio. Would it help if I took Bio over at community college during the summer?</p>

<p>What are some things I can improve on?? (besides GPA)</p>

<p>Your SAT isn’t bad. I don’t know if you can raise your GPA much with the limited time you have. Good luck though. I am applying to NYU also.</p>
