please help a sophomore!!

I am just entering grade 11 and have this rather vexing dilemma in selecting between Economics and Biotechnology. Both are extremely scoring and interesting. I'd be highly obliged if you could tell me which among the two aforementioned courses would appeal more to Yale in my application?? Thanks a ton!!

What do you plan on studying in college?
Is economics AP?

nopee!! i’m an international student and my school doesnt offer ap

^You don’t need to post this in every single forum, lol. Honestly, no school is going to reject you because you took Biotechnology instead of Economics, or vice versa.

take which ever one you’ll enjoy more.

see that’s where the basic issue is… i have a deep rooted interest in both courses!! i want to choose one of them which would make my curriculum look more ‘rounded’.

my other courses include english literature, english writing, maths II, chemistry and physics.

Still not certain!! :(

Forget about college. Take the one that you will like, that will be more interesting to you, that has the better teacher.

Whatever.

Colleges do not care which you take.

Edit: (I say this quite often but…) The fact that this decision is so hard for you, and you need the help of random internet dwellers does not bode well…

This is exactly what I was going to suggest.
