<p>I need advice and help desperately. I realize that I'm not talking about deciding whether or not to go to Harvard or Yale, but the decision is difficult all the same.</p>
<p>Here is my dilema. I am waitlisted at NEU, my top choice school, also waitlisted at Syracuse. Does anyone know how waitlists work? Is it by lottery, or is everyone assigned a number? Percentage of students accepted off waitlists in general?</p>
<p>Secondly, I have been accepted to Emerson, St. Louis University (18,000/year scholarship), Loyola University Chicago ($5,000/year for 4 years scholarship, still waiting to hear about financial aid). I love Boston but not sure Emerson is the place for me, it's small artsy etc. I would be going for Advertising, Public Relations. I have not visited. SLU is giving me a good package and I am planning on visiting next weekend. I hope to get to Loyola in the next week or so also but don't know financial aid $ yet. Where do I go?? I live in Wisconsin. If you were me, where would you go? Is Emerson too small a school? Would I fit in? Heard it is a big reefer school and I am not into that.</p>
