Please help; BU, American, GW ?

Hello !
I would really appreciate some input on this.

I got into the School of Public Affairs at American with a good scholarship.
I got into BU, which has a great International Relations major
and I am waitlisted at GW, where I am hoping to get in, but
my other two choices are still really tempting.

I want to go into law and international affairs and something possibly along the lines of linguistics and journalism.

I have visited all three schools, but I do not know which one is the best to choose. Fit wise, GW is perfect. BU is great but it is very cold. And American's campus is not the best but if the education can make up for it, I can deal with it.

I don't know what to do.
I need to make a deposit in a couple of days at either American or BU.
They both have their advantages and disadvantages for me.

Does anyone know from experience or can tell me where the best place is to go (especially considering what I want to major in) ? I'm very stuck.

Thanks !

Did you apply directly to the Elliott School at GW? That is the international affairs program.

Otherwise, you really have to decide if you want to be in DC or Boston. American is good on IR as well.

I heard BU also has crappy dorms. Kids from BU got mad when PR said back way that BU had dorms like palaces. I wouldn't go to American, it doesn't seem to be in the same league as BU and GW. Frankly, put the money in BU, and then take GW if you get off the waitlist. Boston isn't as cold as you think, it is a lot like NYC, only about 5 deg cooler. And it is a really nice, classy city.

I agree with colberTreporT...

me too :) 10char

Agree with Colbert report and Meadesport as well.
Good luck, hope you gett off the wait list ASAP

Don't go to American; most of the people I know hate it there. I picked GW over BU, but I would definitely say they are comparable. It's as everyone else said "decided whether you want to be in Boston or D.C."
