I was told by an NYU rep that visited my school that i would have a REALLY tough time getting into most under grad business schools without taking pre-calc/calc by senior year.

My problem is that i am generally good at math, but its very complicated to take pre-calc by senior year at my school in my position (i am a junior in algebra 2 and i've taken algebra 1 and geometry).

The process may include talking to headmasters and taking a summer course etc, etc. I am willing to go through all the trouble, but if it is possible that schools will accept me regardless of the math requirement PLEASE let me know this is very important to me

It really depends upon the school that you are applying to. Many of the more selective schools don't really care too much what your major is when you are applying, unless you have to apply for a specific school. They are looking at a core set of reqs they expect. You can look up the required and recommended courses at collegeboard.com for each school.

But for the level of schools you mention in your other threads, yes you will need at least pre-calc if not calc. Don't you go right into precalc next year? If not, then I have to think you will have a hard time with an acceptance unless you have some other wow factor.

My daughter had the same problem as you, only starting AlgI in 9th grade, and her school only allowing summer work as an exception. So she took:

After Algebra II you take Pre-Cal ... what are you taking instead senior year?

You will have a very difficult time taking college Calculus even if you DO take Pre-cal...and you probably won't be admitted without having taken it for Stern.
