Hi, Could you please give me your opinion of my chances of getting into Colgate early decision?

SAT Math 590
SAT English 640
Weighted GPA 4.6
Several AP and EE classes
Currently taking Global Economics EE, AP Calculus Honors, French IV EE Honors, AP English, E Asian Civ EE, Physics Honors. My current GPA is 4.75. I have a B+ in Calculus and either an A or A+ in everything else.
EC’s - Cheer, Track, Foreign Film, Mission Trip, Counselor at Church Camp. I also have a part time job.
I know that my SAT scores are not great, but do you think they may overlook this, after looking at the rest of my information?

Without a hook, I don’t think you have a shot at ED. Your math sat is below their 25th percentile (630) and your english is only 20 points above (620). Note that’s the old sat; if your scores are for the new SAT then I think they would be even lower when you compare.

Can you either retake the SAT, or take the ACT in Dec and apply RD in Jan? I think that would be a better option for you.
