-My one downfall, however, is that I've never been a spectacular math/science student, and my grades in those classes have certainly brought down my GPA. However, I've stuck with the A level math every year until this one because I just couldn't handle the idea of giving up.

I expect my GPA to be around a 3.6 or 3.7

I am applying to BU, NYU, Penn State, George Washington, American, Emerson, Northeastern, and Hofstra with a Public Relations/Communication major.

thank you! and cgb- i’m required to send ACT or SAT I + II to a few of my schools. i didn’t take SAT II because i wasn’t that confident in any sole subject.

i think you’ll get into all of these, maybe even you should have reached a little more?
NYU is the hardest one to get in here, and i’d put it at a high match/lowwww reach.

Hofstra–i would say matchish idk much about hostra

you have pretty solid stuff…i wouldn’t worry about it. the hardest one to get into on your list is NYU, and the avg. GPA is 3.6, with roughly the same SAT scores, so you should be fine. good luck!
and please chance me!

chemE2014- in my high school career I will have 2 years of AP English in addition to AP Art History, AP European History, and AP Psychology. I’ve stuck to A level math every year until this year; I dropped down because I just couldn’t afford hurting my GPA any further. However, I am still in A level physics and hopefully that will help me, although I’m not doing spectacular in that either.

terroristlatino- Thank you so much! You say that I could’ve reached a little bit more… what schools are you thinking? I have honestly been getting really nervous about all of these because I’m not so confident that I will get in. It’s just the math + science grades that kill my confidence.

perhaps another bump?

Okay, so midnight was probably not the best time to bump. So, here’s another bump… sorry!

David2699 Seth Kenney please don’t forget to return the money you stole. it can really cause a problem with future employment.
