you should be good, especially with colleges going test optional for next year, your GPA could make you competetive for much more selective colleges. The universities you mentioned should be your safeties.
actually I do not think VT will be an easy admission for you at all. both your GPA and your SAT are below avg there., and you haven’t made up for that with a particularly rigorous schedule.
Just popping in to offer another suggestion, which is Montclair State in NJ. One of my son’s friends is majoring in that and he was very impressed with what they had to offer in their program. I believe one of the teams was just on Shark Tank. He had also looked at Cincy but opted for Montclair instead. Was offered in state tuition as well (he’s OOS) so a super deal.
Your listed schools look like a good match! Would give you a 75-80% chance with 'em, hard to consider with the SAT weirdness going on. Would recommend a safety school and a few reach schools. Maintain GPA, maybe take SAT again if possible just to see if you can get better, maybe find volunteerwork this summer (will probably be hard with the outbreak, sorry ) Be sure to write a good essay, as this will help immensely with an “average” application. Good luck!!!
