Well, I did get those scores. And I did do all of those activites, though I'm not sure how I did it. Many of htem aren't that intense (MUN is once a week, there is only Varsity water polo at my school, etc) And I know I have a chance at all of those schools. Buttttttt...I mean, my UW GPA is pretty low, I'm barely in the top 25% for UW. Plus the valdectorian and salutectorian are also applying EA to Harvard so idk what's going to happen there. If anyone could give me more specific feedback for these schools (which ones I have a better chance at) that'd be great.

Thats the thing i'm worried about. the #2 kid also has comparable scores and we're both sort of EC-similar...but he's much more literature-driven as opposed to me (obviously heh) so i'm sort of holding my breath. Do you think any of these schools are more likely to accept a more sciency person than a literaturey one?

well besides MIT obviously ;) But yeah, thanks. We'll see what ends up happening. Knowing my luck i'll probably get into to exactly half of them. lol

Location definitely plays a big part in admission decisions, as they schools want a balance of kids from all over the country. Because you're from the midwest, you've probably got a really good shot at all the Ivies, and the last four schools on the list will almost definitely take you because you're local.
